Get more than 10 RSS items

Hello all,

I'm using kitchensink's RSS code and it works fine.

My only issue with it is that it only pulls the first 10 RSS items. Any idea how can I pull more than 10 items?

Thanks,

Idan

Which RSS demo are you referring to? There are two in KitchenSink.

One under Platform > XML RSS

And another at Mashups > RSS (which I wrote)

They both list all the items in each of the available RSS feeds.

Notice the line :

for (var c=0; c < items.length; c++){
...
and
for (var c=0; c < itemList.length; c++){
...
in each demo.

What is the URL of the RSS feed you are trying to parse? It's possible the limitation is set by the RSS provider.

  • Hi Kosso,

    I'm referring to the Mashups > RSS (which you wrote).

    For example when I pull http://feedproxy.google.com/TechCrunch I get 25 results.

    I guess you are right about the RSS provider limiting the items... any idea how can I pull more than the initial limitation? For example when I use Google Reader I can do "get more items" and it gets the next 25...

    Thank you!
