See, this is the problem with the 3rd Party stuff Apple is getting all pissy about. It shouldn't be up to Titanium to choose whether or not something is a security issue with Apples API.

I am looking for such a function too. To retrieve the user's mobile number but I guess security is an issue..

This function was dropped with the release of Ti Mobile 0.9

It´s dropped cause of security for users of apps!
