Contact Authorization

I am having difficulty getting contact authorization to work in the simulator. It works fine on the device, but simulator always returns authorized and my app does not show up under privacy settings?

I went through and reset location and privacy, which again works on the phone, but not in simulator. Any one else seeing this behaviour or have a work around?
