I'm not sure if this can be done or not but I'm going to ask. All I want to do is display a contacts information like when an incoming call comes in (iOS). Contacts name, the numbers being called from and the picture if one if on file. Also I'd like to play the sound that's set as the ring tone. I'm not sure where to even start. I haven't looked in the KS app yet, thought I'd start here first.

In this case, trying to simulate the call would be waaay more effort than just putting you're app on a device and calling yourself. There is no way to sim a call on the Simulator, however you can toggle that In-Call status bar with Cmd+T ... not sure that will help you for whatever it is you're trying to do though.
You cannot do what you have described on iOS. Apple has that locked down.
