Good morning, thanks for taking the time to answer my questions or help me solve my problem. I am working with Appcelerator and JDK 1.6 plus android emulator on Windows XP. The problem I have is that I failed to see the "hello world" because I do not see anything on the emulator screen.

I set the PATH as the guide says, and I've been reading but I can not find the solution to the problem. I have installed version APIs for 8,15,16 and right now I'm installing the extras. I appreciate if you can help me solve my problem, among the most common mistakes that always appear are

[WARN][Vold ( 29)] No UMS switch available [ERROR][Zygote ( 33)] setreuid() failed. errno: 2 [WARN][MediaProfiles( 33)] could not find media config xml file [ERROR][Zygote ( 33)] setreuid() failed. errno: 17 [ERROR][BatteryService( 66)] usbOnlinePath not found [ERROR][BatteryService( 66)] batteryVoltagePath not found [ERROR][BatteryService( 66)] batteryTemperaturePath not found [ERROR][SurfaceFlinger( 66)] Couldn't open /sys/power/wait_for_fb_sleep or /sys/power/wait_for_fb_wake [ERROR][EventHub( 66)] could not get driver version for /dev/input/mouse0, Not a typewriter [ERROR][EventHub( 66)] could not get driver version for /dev/input/mice, Not a typewriter

  • Missing from your question are a number of important pieces of information. I suggest you take a look at the Using Questions and Answers article, specifically the Q&A Question Checklist. The missing information is critical to reproducing problems in a test environment and often indicates other factors that cause the undesirable outcome you are experiencing.

  • Thank for this advice, fortunately i can fix the problems: i install all extras from SDK android, then create the environment varibles like JAVA_HOME and put the correct PATH for this variable. I restart the appcelerator studio i finally i can see the famous "hello world" in the Android Virtual Devices "Titanium_1_HVGA". Now, i hope work and developer apps for the chalenger..........Best Regard
