I am developing for iOS 4.3+ using Titanium SDK 2.1 GA.
I have a fairly simple app.js
app.js var AppTabGroup = require('ui/AppTabGroup'), MenuTabGroup = require('ui/MenuTabGroup'); new AppTabGroup().open(), MenuTabGroup().open();This works fine, but I am attempting to mimic the Facebook Slide out menu. In order to do this I need to be able to control the zIndex of these 2 TabGroups in correlation with each other. Currently MenuTabGroup sits on top of AppTabGroup and I have logic in place to slide AppTabGroup 150px to the right, and then back triggered via a navButton.
I had it working without putting the TabGroups into modules and doing most of the work in app.js, but then I ran into issues with navigation tree becoming corrupted and figured I should attempt to do it with everything in modules.
Is there a better way to go about this?
I am simply just using a tabGroup layout, hiding the tabs and doing all the navigation in the "menu" by setting the activeTab and have confirmed it all works, but it was sloppy and not very modular.
