Hi guys, im currently working on a game for iPad and iPhone, whereas iPad will act as the server(board) and iPhone(s) as client(s)(players).
In my understanding Bonjour is just used to connect devices, and sockets are used to send/receive data. The socket part I'll get going pretty quick, but how do I go about the Bonjour part ? I managed to connect devices and send data with the sample in KitchenSink, but as im using the iPad as a server only, is all that code necessary for all devices ? Arent there just a receiver-type of Bonjour ?
Take a look at this tutorial, maybe it helps you :)
Basically the demo sends data "in the wild" and the devices that receive the signal chooses to act or not.
