I'm having an issue where sometimes after I take a picture I get no error just the app restarting. Anyone seen this? I've seen it on 1.6 and now in 1.7.

Hard to say without seeing the code you're using - especially the actions you're taking after the 'success' event.
It looks like it was an issue with MIUI android... I reverted to a more stable version and it seems to have gone away..
i've seen the same issue with cyanogenmod 5, 6 and 7 (on magic, dream and milestone). official builds seem to work.
