Any additional steps needed to submit a final app package to Apple App Store?

I searched on the forum, but the answers I found were all from several SDK versions ago. When I package a distribution app in Titanium Studio, I see there is an iOS app created in /build/iphone/build/Release-iphoneos

I have done all the dev center portal stuff too.

Is this suitable for zipping and submitting via AppLoader? Or is there another step? I apologize if this has been coverd, but I couldn't find any current info.

Nothing more needed other than uploading your application via the Apple Tools.

Have you logged into iTunes Connect and gone through the steps to create an application, all the way through 'Waiting for Upload'?

  • I have done the process many times, for non-Appcelerator apps. Was just wondering if anything further is needed for Appcelerator.

You have to use xcode, do to the organiser and look for the App Submission section. Of course before that, you must have an Apple Developer Program and itunes connect account and create the an new application via itunes connect, input all the information and graphics, up until the stage called 'Waiting for upload'

  • BTW, that's entirely true. I neve rused Xcode for that (although maybe its possible). Those steps can all be done on the iTunes Connect web site.
