[ERROR] JDK version 1.5.0_28 (Mobile)

Hi,

I am having problems with running the android emulator. The emulator runs but displays the error [ERROR] JDK version 1.5.0_28 in the trace log and then my app doesn't display.

I have tried launching on a few different Android SDKs but to no avail.

Just wondering if the error would stop my app from running?

I am running OS X 10.5.8, mobile SDK 1.6 and as above running JDK 1.5.0_28.

Thanks in advance.

Installing the correct version of JDK will likely resolve your issues.

Please refer to the documentation, Preparing for Android development and specifically the Titanium Compatibility Matrix link that it references.

  • Hi thanks for the help.

I have installed Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 9 which only updates Java to 1.5.0_28 and as far as I can tell the matrix says I need Java 1.6 as a minimum requirement. All the JDK 1.6 installs are aimed at OS X 10.6.

Have any ideas where I can find the download for JDK 6 1.6 for OSX 10.5?

  • I am sorry, Colin, but I don't, and only OSX 10.6+ is supported. If you find the solution, it would be really good if you would post it here to benefit others.

    Cheers
