Looks nice, how are you getting those resturaunts? Did you create a custom site and database, or using something like the Yelp api?

  • This app is basically an extension to a book that is produced yearly. The developer that makes the book hired me to build the app. He had all the restaurants in Excel. I turned that Excel file into a SQLite database, cleaned it up with some normalization, did some geo-caching, and etc. The SQLite database of all 700 restaurants is stored locally in the app.
