Adding your iTunes artwork to your project gives your app a polished look when you are testing or deploying to test users. In order to get your application’s icon to appear in iTunes there are a few simple steps to follow.
- Create a 512×512 version of your applications icon in png format.
- Save the png file to your application Resources folder as ‘iTunesArtwork.png’
- In ‘Finder’ navigate to the Resources directory and remove the ‘.png’ extension from the file
- Do a clean build of your project for Device.
With those steps you should see your application icon show up in iTunes.
