This morning we announced that we’re making it easier for Titanium developers to rapidly develop and deploy scalable mobile apps with Engine Yard, the leading Ruby on Rails development platform for the cloud.
In our January 2011 survey, 87% of you told us that you were interested in connecting apps to the cloud — so we’re making it easier for you to do that. We’re now giving you a one-stop shop to develop and deploy mobile apps to both the private cloud (i.e. backend web services) and the public cloud (i.e. Facebook, Flickr, YouTube).
Our future plans include integrating and certifying each other’s technologies, jointly developing best practices, and creating common architectural patterns to help developers build mobile applications using Appcelerator Titanium with Ruby on Rails backends developed and deployed on the Engine Yard platform. Stay tuned for updates as we move forward with these initiatives.

This is interesting, but unfortunately I use (and love) Heroku.
